Prototype

Definition

Prototype: the original or model on which something is based or formed. 

Is there a model, type, or example in which The Army of the Lord can pattern itself? To identify a possible prototype we can match the Twelve Points with someone in history.

1 Prepare

Through the events in the person’s life, it is evident that God prepared them for a special purpose.

2 Holy

Evidence that the person lived a holy life.

3 Army

Was in an army for Our Lord in a leadership role.

4 Exploits

Did mighty works.

5 For Jesus

Knew the voice of Jesus and did the mighty works for Him.

6 Destroy

Destroyed the wicked.

7 High Places

Combated false gods and spiritual wickedness in “high places.”

8 No-respecter of Persons

Was not of a priestly class.

9 Anointed

Was called and endowed directly by Jesus.

10 Preach

Preached the Good News of Jesus Christ and was a defender and correcter of it.

11 Heal

Was a healer.

12 Repent

Called others to repent and won souls for Jesus.
